A homemaker and a resident of Plaquemine, she died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2007, at Riverwest Medical Center, Plaquemine. She was 83 and a native of Natchez, Miss. Visiting at Hall's Celebration Center on Friday, June 1, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. MacHenry Wallace. Interment in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Brusly. Survived by her daughter, Dorothy Colbert, Dorseyville; son-in-law, Albert Landry Sr.; six grandchildren, Janice Colbert, Frederick, Shederick and Noretta Weatherspoon and Albert Jr. and Ryan Landry; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, daughter, four sisters, brother and two nephews.
