Edith Landes, 87, of Amarillo died Saturday, March 23, 2002.Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road. Burial will be in Llano East Cemetery.Mrs. Landes was born in Indian Creek, Mo., on Jan. 28, 1915.She was preceded in death by her husband on June 28, 1994; two brothers, Harry and Ernest; and a sister, Gertrude.Survivors include two sisters, Edna Patterson of Imperial, Calif., and Genevive Davies of El Centro, Calif.; three sons, Richard and John, both of Amarillo, and Don of Grapevine; six grandchildren, Lee Paul Landes, Rodger David Landes, Theresa Lucille Landes, Trinity Michelle Landes Bridges, Jonathan Patrick Landes and Bryan Landes, all of Amarillo; and 12 great-grandchildren.The family will be at 4501 Harvard St. in Amarillo.Amarillo Globe-News, March 27, 2002
