Paul M. Albosta of Wyoming Street, Ashley, died Wednesday at his home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he lived in Ashley all his life.
He was the son of Paul P. and Helen R. Karbosky Albosta and was a 1966 graduate of Ashley High School.
He was employed as a truck driver for Whiteman Paper Company, Wilkes-Barre, for 25 years. He was a member of Holy Family Church, Sugar Notch, and the Catholic War Veterans Post 274, Ashley. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Janosczyk, in 1990.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are brothers, Mark, Vienna, Va.; David, Riverdale, Ga.; sisters Mary Cherkauskas, Ashley; Jane Hagenbach, Huntington Township; Nancy Albosta, Wilkes-Barre; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be a 9 a.m. Friday from the Joseph L. Wroblewski Funeral Home, 56 Ashley St., Ashley, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Family Church. The Rev. John Terry will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
Memorial donations may be made to the Holy Family Church.
