GARDEN CITY - Wilbur S . Banister , 74, Garden City, died Aug. 9, 1991, at a nursing home here. He was born in Hardin, Mo., and lived in Colorado Springs, Colo., for 40 years, moving to Garden City five years ago. Mr. Banister was a greenhouse manager for 35 years, retiring in 1983. Survivors include a son, Dale L. Banister , Colorado Sprinsgs; two sisters, Savannah K. Banister , Kansas City, and Rose Marie Stanley, Overland Park; and a granddaughter.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the New Hope Cemetery, North of Hardin. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Thurman Chapel in Richmond.
