Frank was the son of Fred P. and Mary Kaiser Jennings. He moved to Pittsburg County as a young man and attended school in Krebs. He married Velma Lois Chandler on June 10, 1925 in McAlester. He worked for 50 years in the McAlester area as a rural mail carrier, beginning his mail deliveries with a horse and buggy in 1921. He was a member of the National Rural Letter Carriers Association and a member of the First Christian Church of McAlester. Survivors include a daughter, Deanna Wade of McAlester; a son and daughter in law, Dona nd Helen Jennings of McAlester, three granddaughters, Toni Caldwell Ellington, Kapolea, HI, Connie Jennings Peters of Edmond, and Carol Jennings McBride, Flower Mound, TX. Also six great grandchildren, Barrett Argo and Blair Ellington, Casey Peters and Courtney Peters, and Corey McBride and Alexandra McBride. Graveside service was held Wednesday, June 19, 1996.
