Ona Jessie King Barlow, 91, of Logan, passed away Sunday, August 12, 1990 in Evanston, Wyoming.
Born December 30, 1898 in Kamas, Utah, a daughter of Robert Ledrue and Ruth Burbidge King. She married Fielding Burton Barlow, June 1, 1920 in Brigham City, Utah; their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple August 8, 1923. He passed away September 6, 1989. She lived in Tremonton, Utah until 1949 and then moved to Logan where she and her husband Fielding owned and operated the Tick-Tock Drive-In for many years. Ona was active in the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints and served in many callings including Relief Society President. She graduated from Utah State Agricultural College with a Bachelors Degree in Home Economics and was a member of the Beta Delta Sorotity. Ona reared a family of two boys and four girls who adored her.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Dell Marie Barlow, Springville; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Kae and Blain Welling, Evanston, Wyoming; Doreen and Lee Iverson, Issaquah, Washington; Ruth and Richard Funk, Roy; Ann Kastanis, Tacoma, Washington; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Emma and Kenneth Maughan, Pleasant View; Allie Freestone, Roy; 24 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 17, 1990, 12 Noon, Allen-Hall Mortuary Chapel, 34 East Center, Logan, Utah, with Bishop Glen Marcusen, conducting. Friends may call Friday, 10:30 a.m. until time of services. Burial: Bountiful City Cemetery.
