George S. George, 208 West Third St., Fairbury, Nebr., died at Kearney, Nebr., Saturday June 11, 1939 at the age of 46 years, 9 months and 24 days. His death followed a lingering illness.
He was born August 17, 1891 at Gilead, Nebr., and confirmed in the Lutheran church there.
He was married July 26, 1911, to Miss Ida Naiman, who preceded him in death. There were five children, Aldin, Lorene and George of Mason City, Ia.; Elmer of Ft. Riley, Kans., and Mrs. Thelma Lester of Minneapolis Minn.
July 9, 1928 he married Adeline Bodke. Two children were born, Joan now 8 years of age and Genevieve, 5 years old.
He is survived by his widow and seven children, three grandchildren and one step son. He also leaves his mother, Mrs. Herman George of Gilead, Nebr., and four sisters, Mrs. Maggie Goeking and Mrs. Minnie George of Gilead, Mrs. Lydia Spomer and Mrs. Anna Schonboe of Lincoln. His father died Dec. 10, 1932.
Funeral servic swere (sic) conducted by Rev. K. Kielhorn at the Zion Evangelical church of Gladstone Tuesday afternoon and burial made in the Gladstone Cemetery.
