Ladina C. Collazo, 21, of Jay Street, died Tuesday (September 20, 2005) in Little Rock, Arkansas as a result of an auto accident.
Born March 27, 1984 in Springfield, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Lisa DelliVeneri Donnelly and James F. Thomason.
Ladina attended Springfield High School and was a cheerleader and played basketball and softball for her school.
She was employed by Amsterdam Printing and Litho and later worked as a loan assistant for First Guarantee Mortgage Company in Saratoga Springs.
Ladina enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping and music.
On May 16, 2003, she married Richie Collazo.
Besides her husband she is survived by her mother, Lisa Donnelly of Galway; her father, James F. Thomason of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; a sister, Chrystal F. Carrow of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; a niece, Kyla Marie Carrow; aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Ladina was predeceased by her son Daymin W. Collazo who died March 12, 2003 at the age of 2.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday (September 29, 2005) at 8:15 a.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:15 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, East Main Street, Amsterdam. Burial of her cremated remains will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery in Fort Johnson, NY. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the family c/o the funeral home.
