Paul was born 6/19/1945 to Jesse Sidney and Juanita M Shields Blancett in Pittsburg Kansas.
Paul graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1963 and
graduated from Pittsburg State University later with a degree in heating and cooling. He was employed by Pittsburg State University, Southeast TV and Appliance and was also self-employed as a tv repairman at the time of his death.
He enjoyed traveling, gardening and was truly a Mr. Fixit person who could fix or repair anything. He enjoyed family history and never met a stranger. He was a great son, brother,husband and dad. He was loved by all, relative or not. A super kind person in all respects.
Sadly, he died at the age of 36 as a result of a polyp on the mitral valve of his heart which happened to be inflamed and resulted in his sudden death. The family spoke with the doctor who performed the autopsy and told us this information as well being documented on the state death certificate. Paul left a 3 month old son, Terry at the time of his death as well as his wife, Janice,along with his mother,sister and brothers.
