MRS. FIDELIA STEMMONS OF CARTHAGE DIES

CARTHAGE, Mo., Oct. 28 - Mrs. Fidelia Stemmons, 87 years old, died at 7:15 o'clock this morning at her home, 414 Fulton Street. She had been bedfast two months in failing health for a long time.

She was born in Bureau county, Iowa and married September 27 1873 at Avilla.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. J. W. Gilbreath of Carthage, Mrs. Francis Melin of Reeds and Misses Bess and Lela Stemmons of Carthage; three sons, V. B. Stemmons and Clarence Stemmons of Kansas City and Roscoe Stemmons of Portland, OR.;a sister, Mrs. Alice Summers of Eugene, Oregon; and 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The body was moved to the Knell service home.
