My Mother Scots/English/Scandinavian ) married twice, first husband Sgt. Alva Myron Rodgers died in Japanese Camp in the War buried in Minla, PI, one child from this marriage Evelyn Bernice Rodgers. She met and married George Lorentz Brown, had three children. She was born a Miller but was actually a Worley, her father was married to 2 diff/women at the same time under diff/surnames, her father was Charles Alan Miller~ real name is Worley...mirgrated from England. Her GG Grandmother was Nancy Campbell 1st female in New Jersey born on American soil, her parents from Ireland/Scotland, this family married into the MacDonalds so my Mom never knew she was mostly SCOTS! This is all too funny at this point in my life! My parents never lost their accents. She could create anything just from looking at a style then create her own, sewed for many people all her life. She was artist in the truest sense, could draw, paint, build anything. there is no mistake...My Mothers Father Charles "Allen" Miller was a bigamist and her first husband Alva Myron Rodgers was also a bigamist & married my mother under this name, he in fact died under the assumed name! My Mother was a beautiful Red Head no freckles, pure white skin & the bluest eyes. I did not inherit her coloring, I got the Scandinavian Blonde hair and blue eyes!
