He was the builder of the Reese-Wil-Mond Hotel.
He died after a long bout with tuberculosis.
He was preceded in death by his two sons who should also be buried there.John Reese Burk died of a kidney ailment after a football injury while William Edwin Burk died in a Valley automobile accident. Both deaths should be in the 1930s. The hotel was named after the three sons (middle name) Reese, Wil (for first part of William), and Mond (last part of son Raymond).
