Obit was located in the Cass Lake Times of 11/7/1929 on page #2 and reads as follows:
"Irvin Barsness, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Barsness, age six years, died Sunday night after an illness of several days. The funeral was held at Trinity Lutheran Church Wednesday, November 6. Rev. J.C. Jerdee officiating and interment was made in the Swedish cemetery at Hart Lake. Norval Stabo, Woodrow Ittner, Thomas Dugas and Earl Merry acted as pallbearers."
