CARBONDALE, KS - Jerry Milton Clements Sr., 65, Carbondale, Kansas, died Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at his home.

He was born April 10, 1940, in Humboldt, Kansas, the son of Raymond Dewey and Ida Angeline (Frye) Clements.

He attended school in Humboldt.

On Jan. 4, 1959, he married Juanita Irene Bolinger in Humboldt, Kansas. She died Oct. 15, 1999.

He was a professional truck driver, working for Topeka Metal Specialties, Meadow Gold Dairies, Hills Pet Products, and Frito Lay.

Survivors include five sons, Jerry Clements Jr. and Kevin Clements, both of Carbondale, KS, Bryan Clements, of Tecumseh, KS, Bradley Clements, of Hoyt, KS, and Troy Clements, of Topeka, KS; four brothers, Bob Clements, of Chanute, KS, Howard Clements, of El Dorado, KS, and Raymond and Rex Clements, both of Humboldt, KS; three sisters, Mary Helen Kaufman, Sue Whitaker, and Joanne Guy, all of Humboldt, KS; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 16, 2005, at the VFW Hall in Carbondale, Kansas. Burial will be in Carbondale Cemetery.

Memorials to Heartland Hospice of Topeka may be left with the funeral home.

Greenwood-Roberts Funeral Home, 730 Western Heights Dr., Overbrook, KS 66524, is in charge of arrangements.
