Mr. and Mrs. Amiel DeClercq will celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary this Sunday. They were married September 4, 1909 in Aaltre, East Flanders, Belgium and came to this country after World War One. They have 6 children: Raymond, Mrs. Evelyn Brown, Mrs. Germain Bopp, Mrs. Mary Shellenbarger, Miss Lillian DeClercq, and Miss Regina, at home.

Mrs. Irma DeClercq, 78, of Monroeville, died at 3:10 p.m. yesterday in Parkview Memorial Hospital. She was born in Belgium and came to the United States with her family in 1909.
Mrs. DeClercq was a member of St Rose Catholic Church, Monroeville, and its Rosary Society.
Survivors include her husband, Amiel; a son, Raymond, Fort Wayne; five daughters, Miss Lillian DeClercq, New York City; Mrs. Evelyn Brown, Van Wert, Ohio; Mrs. Germaine Bopp, Kendallville; Mrs. Mary Shellenbarger, Monroeville, and Miss Regina DeClercq, at home; a brother in Belgium, and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Marquart Funeral Home in Monroeville after 7 p.m. today.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Rose Church, Rev. Edward Roswog officiating. Burial will be in church cemetery.
The Rosary Society will meet at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
