Lindsborg-Helen M. Johnson, 93, Lindsborg, died Friday, Jan. 16, 1998 at Bethany Home, Lindsborg.
Miss Johnson was born Sept. 19, 1904, at rural Smolan and was a resident of Lindsborg since 1982,
moving from Salina. She was a secretary for Richards Paint Store in Salina for more then 25 years and for
the Saline County Register of Deeds office from 1957 to 1971. She was member of the Evangelical
Covenant Church, Lindsborg, was active as a Sunday school teacher at the Salina First Covenant Church, a
baby sitter for Mother's Hour and Covenant Women.
Survivors include a nephew, Roger A. Johnson of Salina; and a niece, Ruth A. Peterson of Lindsborg.
The funeral will be at 10 a. m. Monday at the Evangelical Covenant Church, Lindsborg, the Rev. Jeff
Waugh officiating. Burial will be in Mission Hill Cemetery, rural Smolan.
Memorials may be made to the Evangelical Covenant Church or Salina First Covenant Church in care of
Hays Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p. m. Sunday at the funeral home, Washington at Lincoln
streets, Lindsborg 67456
