Gracie, 100, of Barboursville, passed away at Cabell-Huntington Hospital.
A daughter of the late Andrew and Tasney Plumley Skeens, she was a retired employee of the Barboursville State Hospital, a member of Hash Ridge Baptist Church and attended Living Word Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Vance; three sisters and two brothers.
She was survived by one daughter, Escalene Basham; two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Ruth Lambert and Gary and Cynthia Lambert; step-daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Rev. Fred Anderson; step-daughters-in-law, Virginia Vance and Ruth Vance; step-sons and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Vance and Wondell and Brenda Vance; six sisters, Alma Lewis, Macie Farley, Flaura Lambert, Vivian Reed, Eunice Catolico, and Arbrea Vannatter; five grandchildren, Randell Midkiff, Paula Beasley, Dr. Drew Lambert and his wife, Dr. Vaia Lambert, Larry Lambert, Jr., and his wife, Vickie, Mark Lambert and wife Michele; seven step-grandchildren, Denna Conn and her husband, David, Jodie Vance, Kathy Spurlock, Eric Vance, Kim Woods, Bobby Vance and his wife, Carla, and Carolyn Murphy and her husband, Ted; twenty three great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
