Vernon Ray Snow, 84, of Springdale, Ark., died July 24, 2018, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born June 10, 1934, in Wayton, Ark., to Reuben and Anna Rebecca (Reynolds) Snow.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Leon, Denver and Jim Snow; and a sister, Geneva Haley.

Vernon was a master electrician and founded Snow Electric in the summer of 1974. He was a longtime member of Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church of Springdale. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping. He was a U. S. Army veteran from 1956 to 1958 and served in Korea and Japan.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carolyn (Yarbrough) Snow whom he married May 19, 1961, in Springdale; three children, Carrie Rolf and husband John, Kent Snow and wife Jennene and Brent Snow and wife Kristina, all of Springdale; one sister, Betty Thomas of Springdale; one brother, Wayne Snow and wife Billie of Springdale; and seven grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Circle of Life Hospice of Springdale for their kindness and wonderful care. A visitation will be held at 9 a.m., Saturday, July 28, at Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Springdale. Funeral services will follow visitation at 10 a.m. with Rev. Leon Hodge and Rev. Ben Gibson officiating. Interment will be at Friendship Cemetery, Springdale.
