Samantha Frances Brazell was born September 11, 1861 in Alabama. She died March 1, 1937, at the home of her son, Bob Cunningham, of Cheyenne, Oklahoma.
On January 28, 1883 she was united in marriage to Frank Cunningham. To this union were born nine children. Her husband and six children preceded her to the great beyond.

Mrs. Cunningham and her family came to Cheyenne in 1897. She has made this her home most of the time since that date. All the latter part of her life she has lived with her son in this city.

When just a girl she was converted and joined the Methodist church. She lived a consistent Christian life to the end. She was a member of the Methodist church of Cheyenne and will be greatly missed by the church and by all who knew her.

She leaves to mourn her passing two sons, R.B. (Bob) Cunningham of Cheyenne, Oklahoma, and R.T. (Dic) Cunningham, of Sayre, Oklahoma; one daughter, Mrs. G. L. Laws of Topenish, Washington; one brother, J.F. Brazell of Tolar, Texas, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Interment in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
