Alva C. Caldwell
Had Been Resident
Of State 33 Years
NAMPA—Alva C. Caldwell died Thursday at his home, 1003 Fifth street South. Together with his son, Clarence, he has operated the Caldwell Feed, Fuel and Cold Storage company here the last year.
He was born Nov. 21, 1885, at Kincaid, Kas., and, came to Idaho 33 years ago. He moved to Nampa two years ago from Owyhee county, where he was engaged in farming many years.
Besides his son he is survived by his widow, Mabel; three daughters, Mrs. Bernice Johnston of Nampa, Mrs. Juanita Johnson of Washington, D. C., and Miss Laura May Caldwell of Nampa; four brothers, Charles N. of McAllen, Texas, Bryan of Burlington, Kas., Ben of Oakland, Iowa, and Fred of Independence, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Cora Waddell of McAllen, and seven grandchildren. Robinson's is in charge of arrangements.
