CRISTIAN PETREA DISNEY was born in Transylvania in Romania on April 21, 1994. He was the son of Lucian "Luke" Petrea and Maria "Mary" Ardelean Petrea.
When Luke and Maria passed away in 1999, Charles Elias Disney, a longtime close family friend, came forth and adopted Cristian and brought him into his Disney family when Cristian was five years of age. Of course, the loss of Cristian's parents was quite difficult for him and he often would speak of them as he loved both of them so very much! Cristian's adoptive father Charles Elias Disney is the son of Raymond Arnold Disney and Meredith A. Disney and a nephew of Walt Disney (Walter Elias Disney).
As Cristian grew he seemed to have a very natural draw for the great circus as this is where his parents were stunningly beautiful and quite talented aerialist performers. So, when Cristian was ten years of age he began to train to be an aerialist and he was obviously such a natural from the beginning. He went on to become a member of the great circus troupe of performers! He was also quite stunning and he loved his work and continued until he was 23 when he decided he wanted to pursue other ventures! (His dad never had discouraged him from his desire to perform, even though Charles Elias was always worried for Cristian's safety and welfare!) Cristian's dad often would come and travel on the circus train with him and the two of them really loved to spend time together and to read, study, and listen to music. Cristian was quite bright and he learned to be interested in so many various things! Cristian went to certified schools on the circus trains and graduated from high school at the top of his class!
Cristian was quite fond of athletics and he was an avid swimmer and baseball and football fan, and he loved sailing and running and he really enjoyed soccer. His uncle Daniel H. Disney taught Cristian to enjoy the sports he came to really enjoy and to excel in. He loved the times he went to Minnesota with his dad and uncle and when the three of them would spend much time on the many lakes fishing and treking through the beautiful forests! He was never a hunter as he could never see the rationale in shooting and killing anything but he and his dad often liked to target practice with their firearms!
Cristian and his dad and uncle Daniel spent maximum times together. They have residences in Florida and in the Midwest. The three are devout Roman Catholics and attended Mass weekly and as often as possible even though Cristian actually attended daily Masses wherever the great circus was performing!
Cristian did travel with his dad and uncle during the down months with the circus and he actually did his daily physical workouts to keep his performing routines in shape.
In the winter of 2017 Cristian began to have some problems with his heart and while he had regular doctor visits, it was not determined to what complete extent his heart was so troublesome! He was finally diagnosed with a condition known as Cardiomegaly or enlarged heart. This condition is often not fatal and his dad took Cristian to numerous and many specialists, but, sadly, his body began to reject treatments and numerous internal organs began to fail.
Finally, and feeling perhaps he was not going to improve, Cristian said to his dad: "I want to live as long as possible, but if it is God's Will for me to pass from this life I will accept this--I have just wanted to be here for you, dad, in the coming days and years!" Cristian loved his dad so much and he was often doing such kind and gentle things for both his dad and uncle Daniel and many others. Actually, Cristian never met any strangers!
And when he was finally greatly ailing and he was certain his days were soon to end, he asked his dad to take him back to Romania. His dad complied and in the final days, Charles Elias Disney never left Cristian's bedside. And when the physicians indicated that the final hour was fast approaching, Cristian's dad climbed into bed with him and cradled Cristian in his arms and gently whispered to Cristian: "I will always love you and it is fine for you to now leave me and to pass back to God, and you will soon be back with your beloved mom and dad," and Cristian looked up at his dad and said: "I am so thankful for you and uncle Daniel, I feel I will leave you now," and with this, he then slipped away and into the everlasting arms of God who always loved him and would love him for all eternity..."
But, this is always the difficult part, for those of us left behind, never are we ready for the physical ending for those we have loved.

"Death is not the end of anything, it is the beginning of everything, and I will think of my dear son Cristian every day for the remainder of my own life!"
