DIES WHILE ON TRIP TO FLORIDA

Mrs. Helen M. Darner 3109 Second Ave., Des Moines died at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Woodlund Hospital at Moberly, Mo.
She and her son Robert were enroute from her home to Miami, Florida when she became ill and was taken to the hospital.

Mrs. Darner was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and a son. She is survived by her husband and son at home, and a brother Joseph Bain of Rock Island, Ill. The family is formally of Ottumwa.

Members of the St. Patrick's Parish and friends will meet at 8 p.m. this evening at the Traul Funeral Home to recite the rosary.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 8:30 a.m. at the Traul Funeral Home and at 9:00 at St. Patrick's Church for a requiem high mass officiated by the Rev. J.J. Collins. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
