Mrs. Frances A. Thomas, wife of Byron A. Thomas, passed away at her home near Cedar, Colorado.

She was born in Allen County, IN., daughter of Nathan Allen and Rebecca Archer. She married Charles Weir Osborn August 2, 1868 in Harrison County, MO. He preceded her in death July 23, 1900. She later married B. A. Thomas and has spent the past 20 years of her life near Cedar.

She was a member of the M. E. Church all her life, and was also a member of Lone Cone Rebekah Lodge of Norwood for a number of years.

The friends of the deceased were numbered by her acquaintances. She is survived by three children, Oscar Osborn, Emory Osborn, and Mattie P. Reading and several grandchildren.

Services were held at the home March 27, 1929 and on account of the weather and road conditions burial took place at the ranch home on Ryman Creek, in Dolores County.
