Henry Walter Deckard 62, died at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Bloomington Hospital. He is a life-long resident of Bloomington, residing at R3.
Mr. Deckard suffered a heart attack on a car lot and was rushed to Bloomington Hospital by police ambulance, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Survivors are his wife Mable Deckard; four sons, Dale R. 3, Lloyd R.3, Leslie R.3 and Doyle Deckard who lives in Indianapolis. Two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Johnson R5, and Mrs. Carolyn Eads R.8, also survive another brother Oscar, resides in Lockland, Ohio. There are eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Burgoon Church, The Rev. Leonard Eads will be in charge, and burial will be at the Burgoon Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Hansford and Raymond Waldrip, Roscoe Elkins, Floyd Grubb, Roy Chambers and Lanford Smith.
Flowerbearers will be Martha Grubb, Diana Pate, Captol Elkins, Dorothy and Florence Waldrip and Joan, Joyce and Rubie Smith.
The body remains at the Greene and Harrell Funeral Home where friends may call until time of the services.
