Beatrice E. Nettles, 90, a resident of 36 West Fourth St., Oswego passed away April 1, 2007 at the Oswego Hospital. Born in Dover, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Cora (Winters) Rockwell. She was Educated in New Jersey and moved to Oswego in 1961. In 1965, She and her husband Owned and Operated Bill's Tavern located on East Eight and Bridge St. Mr. Nettles sang in the Choir at St. Joseph's Church. She was a member of the R.S.V.P and the Oswego Hospital Aux. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Surviving are a daughter Harriet (Charles) Tyrell of Volney; a son, George (Sally) Nettles of Oswego; a brother, Charles (Gail) Rockwell of Florida; five grandchildren, Bonnie LoVine, Cielle Tovey, Anne Jensen, Brandy Hugo and Kimberly Nettles; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Homer E. Nettles, granddaughter Dee Dee Neild and a brother George C. Rockwell. Burial will be in All Saints Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery.
