BURKE, Myrtle Frances
born on November 3, 1925, to Thomas and Eva Oswian in Los Angeles, Calif. On April 3, 2007, an angel came and took Myrtle to Heaven. She is now free of pain and home with our Heavenly Father. Myrtle worked for several years for Vons Grocery in the 1950 and 1960's, in the Los Angeles and Westchester areas. In 1970, she went in business with her husband William. Together they owned a Chevron Service Station in Westchester. Myrtle loved to pump gas for their customers. When she was asked why she always had a tan she would say "I spend a lot of time in the islands" meaning the islands of the service station. Myrtle moved to the Antelope Valley in 1989, with her husband and they retired. Left to cherish Myrtle's memory are husband William of 51 years, daughter Cathy Csulak (Pete), and her most precious grandson Cody that she adored, sister Faye and brother Tommy, nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all that loved her and will be forever in our hearts. Rest in peace Mom until we are all together again. We love you always and forever. Graveside Services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 9, 2007, at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, Palmdale, with Pastor Jim Powell officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Halley Olsen Murphy Funerals & Cremations, Palmdale.
