I wasn't very close with my father. I found out about his passing over a year after the fact. He was not claimed by his current wife, and I was never notified by her or the County. He was cremated by the County of Los Angeles. He is buried in a mass grave along with about 1200 others who were never claimed or forgotten. His location is marked with the year of his passing 1998.
