Services are 11 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2005 at Chancellor Funeral Home Byram with burial in Bethesda Methodist Cemetery near Hazlehurst.
Mr. Furlow has lived in Jackson since 1955, coming from Copiah County. He was a member of Emmanuel Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, J.B. and Mary Lou Hamilton Furlow; two brothers, Jimmy and Benton Furlow; sister, Veryle Mercier, and granddaughter Amy Danielle Evans
He is survived by: wife, Francis Merle Brister Furlow; two daughters Patricia Anne Wallace and husband Ed of Terry, Kathy Lynn Tate and husband Jeff of Jackson; brother, Stanley Ed Furlow of Lafayette, La; two sisters, Inez Danise of Ocean Springs, Joan Ann Grone of Brookhaven; two grandchildren, Bradley Ray Cotten and wife Kandye, Christina Latrice Cotten and one great grandchild Allison Jean Cotten .
