Lucy May Parcher was born on March 9, 1912 in Etowah, Ark. to Finis Jefferson Roberts and Ella Jane Cockrell Roberts. She passed away on her 95th birthday, March 9, 2007, at Kern Valley Hospital in Lake Isabella, Calif. She was a property owner in Bodfish, Calif. for the past 40 years of which she resided for the past 20years.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 years, Joseph Dominic Parcher, Sr.; son, Roy Francis Parcher and several grandchildren. She is survived by daughter, Mary Ella Eddins of Bodfish, Calif, and sons, Joseph Dominic Parcher, Jr. of Everett, Washington and Charles Thomas Parcher of Kinkaid, Kansas; Grandchildren, Trina Brown of Weldon, Calif, Denise Yost of Lockhaven, Penn, Michael Parcher of Lockhaven, Penn, Deborah A. Parcher, Teresa Parcher, Thomas Parcher, Martin Parcher, Benedict Parcher, Roy Parcher Jr. of Calif. Diane Parcher of Valencia, Calif. Charles Parcher of Wisconsin, Kathleen Miller of Montana, Matthew Parcher of Benton, Ark.; great-grandchildren, Jennifer Guerra, of Weldon, Calif. Emilio Guerra IV, recently of Grass Valley, Calif; great-great grandchildren, Dominic Guerra, Jayden Dickson and Alyssa Dickson, of Weldon, Calif. with numerous other great -grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren scattered throughout the country and her adopted family at the Skilled Nursing Facility of Kern Valley Healthcare District of which she was a four year resident.



The family would like to express our deepest gratitude to the nurses and staff for thier love, devotion and the great care that was given to our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, Lucy May Parcher.

Rosary and Requiem Mass were held at St. Jude Roman Catholic Church in Wofford Heights, Calif. on March 16, 2007, presided by Father Patrick Persinger. Burial in The Garden of St. Teresa at Desert Lawn Cemetery in Palmdale, Calif., March 19, 2007. Services arranged through Sierra Mortuary and Funeral Home, Lake Isabella.
