This is an Old Family Cemetery, normally referred to as the Old Burson Family Cemetery. It is located about 5 or 6 miles north of Monroe, Georgia near the Double Springs Baptist Church. It is located in the Area of Walton County where most of the Early Mayfield's settled in Walton County, in the Early 1800's. Unfortunately, this Cemetery has been left to go back to nature. No one has maintained it for over 70 years. It is about 100 yrds. off the Double Springs Road about a mile from the Double Springs Baptist Church itself. Few if any Markers can be found.
