Julia Aboytes, 86, of Amarillo, died Thursday, May 14, 1998.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood, 4100 S. Georgia St., with the Rev. Pat Hoffman of St. Laurence Cathedral officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
Mrs. Aboytes was born in Poteet and had lived in Amarillo for 66 years. She married Felipe Aboytes in 1930 at Amarillo.
She was a member of St. Laurence Cathedral.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Juanita Gammel of Aurora, Colo.; three sons, Peter Aboytes of Borger, Andrew Aboytes of Albuquerque, N.M., and Phillip Aboytes of Amarillo; and five grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center.
