She was born August 8th, 1964 to Jerry and Virginia Jording Lovins of Minier. They survive. Jeannie was previously married to Louis B. Chase he survives in Pekin.
She was a graduate of Olympia High School. She worked at Nestle for 25 years before leaving for medical issues. Jeannie was involved with the Minier Assembly of God Church and loved cooking, taking care of her grandchildren, and helping at the church in whatever way she could. She loved her pets and enjoyed trips with family to Disneyworld. She would always say she was going to retire and work at Disneyworld, waving the big Mickey white glove at people as they came into the park.
She is survived by her two children, Lyndsy (Andy) Quanstrom of Pekin, Sam Chase, of Minier, two grandchildren, Riley, and Hendrix, five sisters, Theresa (Gary) Schoenwetter, of Minneapolis, Vicky Lovins of Minier, Lori Morger of Heyworth, Jerilyn Lovins of Minier and Vicky Gathright of Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins who loved her as well.
She was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and one sister, Kim.
Haensel Funeral Home in Minier is assisting the family with arrangements. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, November 10th at Minier Assembly of God Church in Minier. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at her church.
