Evelyn Mathilda Mohler, 89, formerly of East Franklin, Kittanning, died March 2, 2005 at Kittanning Care Center. She was born August 6, 1915, in Kittanning, to Joseph F. and Mabel (VanLeer) Hogenmiller. She was a lifetime resident of the Kittanning area and a 1934 graduate of Kittanning High School. Mrs. Mohler was a waitress, employed by the former Clarks Grill, for 25 years. She was a member of St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Kittanning, the Apostolic Works Committee, the September Club, where she was a past president, and the Salvation Army Auxiliary. Mrs. Mohler also enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. Survivors include her son, John Michael Wolfe, and wife Shirley, of Kittanning; stepson, Russell Kirk Mohler, and wife Teresa, of Duncansville; daughters, Mary Jo Wojton, and husband Val, of Ford City, Audrey DiGregorio of Cowansville and Linda Ortmann, and husband Tom, of Ford City; brother, Joseph Hogenmiller, and wife Ada, of Fort Worth, Texas; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifford P. Wolfe, who died in 1959; her second husband, Russell I. Mohler, who died April 21, 1999; her parents; daughter, Judith Marlene Harmon, who died 1968; brothers, Earl, George and William Hogenmiller; and sisters, Mildred Anthony and Hilda Lawson. Friends will be received at BAUER FUNERAL HOME, 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, on Friday, March 4, 2005, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral ceremonies will be at St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Kittanning, at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 5, with the Rev.
