Reuben M. Taylor
"VAN WERT - Reuben Miller Taylor, 61, died at 9 a.m. Sunday at Van Wert County Hospital. He was born Jan. 2, 1921, in Paulding County, the son of Henry and Rebecca Miller Taylor. On April 11, 1946, he married Mary Jane Martin, who survives. Mr. Taylor was retired after 36 years with the New York Central Railroad and Conrail. He was a lifetime member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and a member of Van Wert Eagles and Moose lodges.
Survivors also include four brothers, Roy Taylor of Decatur, Jake Taylor, Frank Taylor and Francis Taylor, all of Van Wert; and, four sisters, Mrs. Clifford (Emma) Ty- ler, Mrs. Ralph (Mary) Swager, Naomi Morgan and Mrs. Richard (Ruth) Moore, all of Van Wert.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert, Rev. Martin L. Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime."
