Irene D. Higgins, nee Lachowicz, age 91, passed away Sunday March 14, 2010 late of Crest Hill, formerly of Bolingbrook, loving mother of Tom Olechowski, Kitty Olechowski, Mickey (Bill) Dedi and John Olechowski; cherished grandmother of David Sklodowski; great-grandmother of Alex and Evan Sklodowski. Also survived by two brothers and one sister. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Higgins and a former husband Edward Olechowski; a daughter Janet Olechowski; parents Felix and Michaelene Lachowicz also three sisters. Visitation Wednesday 4 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson Memorial Chapel, 606 Townhall Dr. in Romeoville. Funeral Thursday March 18, 2010 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Andrew Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. Mass. Services conclude at the church, cremation rite to be accorded.
