Mrs. Marilla Sinnif, 84, died Thursday at 9 PM at her home near Eddyville. She was born November 29, 1861 near Eddyville and has lived here for 64 years. She was the daughter of John and Lydia Parks and was married to T. J. Sinnif September 1, 1879. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons in infancy. Surviving are two sons, Ora and Emery, both of Eddyville; one sister, Mrs. Rosa Marshall of Ottumwa, two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 PM at the Community funeral home in Ottumwa, in charge of the Rev. C. R. Read of The Willard St., Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Westview Cemetery in Kirkville.
