Deborah E. (Livingston) Mooney, 56, of East Lykers Road, passed away Thursday, June 4th at Cobleskill Regional Hospital following a brief illness. Debbie was born March 1, 1953 in Schenectady, a daughter of Robert D. and Mildred (Provost) Livingston.
She was a 1971 graduate of Schoharie High School and later, began her career working for various businesses in Schoharie County including, K.P.I. and the former Rubin and Son's and Teletronics. She had lived in Central Bridge for many years before moving to Sprakers.
Debbie was an avid reader, loved to garden, sport shoot, ride motorcycles and was an outstanding cook. Her wit, compassion, helpful attitude and strength will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her loving son, Anthony (Adina) Lawton of Rotterdam; her siblings, Susan (Dave) Johnson of Albuquerque, NM, William (Tina) Livingston of Central Bridge, Carole Livingston of Esperance, Margaret (Jeff) Wands of Galway, Laurie (Warren) Bates of Galway, Ann Briggs of Schoharie, Matthew (Stephanie) Livingston of Cobleskill and Michael (Kelly) Livingston of Sloansville; one granddaughter, Adelyn Lawton and her long-time companion, Mitchell Davis of Sprakers; along with a large extended family including many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents and one brother, Robert H. Livingston. Calling hours will be held from the Langan Funeral Home, 195 North Main St., Central Bridge. Burial will follow in the Sloansville Valley Cemetery.
