Mrs. Marianne H Purnell, 77, of 471 W. 23rd St., died Nov. 22 at her home. She was born in Bedfordshire, England, came to the United States in 1919 and located in Douglas, Ariz. and moved to Long Beach in 1929. She was a member of First Friends Church. Surviving is a son, Edward C. Purnell of Long Beach. Funeral Service will be tomorrow at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Patterson & Snively Mortuary, Rev. Kenneth R. Pickering of First Friends Church officiating. Interment will be in Sunnyside Memorial Park.
