SLOANSVILLE --- Services for H. LeGrande Thomas, 69, of Sloansville, who died Thursday at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, will be conducted tomorrow at the convenience of the family at Langan Funeral Home, Central Bridge. * * * Born in Pennsylvania, Mr. Thomas lived in Sloansville the last four years and previously lived in Central Bridge. He was employed by Chase Lumber and Coal Co., Central Bridge, for 30 years, retiring seven years ago, the[n] later worked part-time for Jamaica Builders. He was a member of Central Bridge United Methodist Church. His wife was the late Elizabeth Kilmer Thomas. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John Pangman of Grosvenors Corners and Mrs. Meryl Johnson of Sloansville; three sisters, Miss Ruth Thomas and Miss Frances Thomas both of Mossic, Pa., and Mrs. Victor Ferry of Old Forge, Pa.; four brothers, Chester of Hornell, Bernard of Avenel, N. J., Richard of Mossic, Pa., and Austin Thomas of Reedsville, Va.; seven grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. * * * Burial will be in Sloansville Cemetery. There will be no viewing hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Bridge United Methodist Church."
