Madison Leroy Cobb, Jr. was born in Missouri to Missouri natives, Madison Leroy Cobb, Sr. & Matilda "Tillie" Wagoner, a farmer and a housewife.

Sometime prior to the 1910 Census, the family moved to Union Township, Woodward Co., Oklahoma (near Woodward); and at the time he graduated from college the family was living in Waynoka, Oklahoma, about 40 miles west NW of Woodward.

Madison graduated from the Oklahoma Agricultural & Mechanical College in Stillwater, with a degree in Engineering, in 1925 (now known as Oklahoma State University). He was also a member of their tennis team. His wife, Pansy, was a also a graduate of OSU in 1927; and they married in Stillwater in 1926, during her Junior year.

It appears he worked his entire career for Continental Oil Company in Ponca City, which is abbreviated "COCo" in the Ponca City Directory listings.

They had a two children, Charles LeRoy Cobb (b. '28), and Jane Ellen "Janie" Cobb (b. '31 or '32).

Rest in Peace...
