GUADAGNO. Vincent M. Guadagno, 84, of Dowd Avenue, Canton, loving husband of Lucille (Herman) Guadagno, died Tuesday, December 23, 1997 at John Dempsey Hospital. He was born April 5, 1913 in Hartford, son of the late Guiseppe and Julia (Laino) Guadagno and had lived in Hartford prior to moving to Canton six years ago. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army Air Force in North Africa and Italy. Mr. Guadagno had been a Cafeteria Manager at various manufacturing firms in the Hartford area, and retired from United Tool and Die, West Hartford in 1991. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Lorrie Guadagno of Sedona, AZ, Sandi and James McAslan of Canton; a grandson, Devon McAslan and two granddaughters, Morgan and Lennon McAslan all of Canton. He is also survived by a sister, Anna Sullo, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters. Family and friends may call beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 27 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 55 River Road, Collinsville, where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canton Visiting Nurse Assoc. P.O. Box 1038, Canton, 06019 or to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, Attention: Memorials, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
