"Oak Ridge --- Mrs. Anna Brand, wife of Chester Brand passed away at her home in Oak Ridge on February 22 at the age of 68. She was born in Charleston-Four-Corners on December 28, 1872 the daughter of Elizah and Nancy Granby Tallmadge. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Pearley and John; two brothers, William Tallmadge of Sloansville and Ellsworth Tallmadge of Charleston-Four-Corners, also several grandchildren. Services were conducted at the Galen White funeral parlors last Tuesday with Rev. T. H. Rheinhart, pastor of the Sloansville and Esperance Methodist churches officiating.
