John Allen Graham was born February 25, 1892, in Tarpley, Bandera County, Texas, to Allen Graham and Della Olivia Kelly. John was tall, slender, with hazel eyes, and black hair. He was married to Lena Olga Marquis in about 1915. They had five children; Evelyn; Elva; Johnnie; Allen Archie and Robert Gene. John was a farmer and stock raiser in Tarpley, Bandera County. He enlisted in Hidalgo County, Texas in the Texas Rangers as a REGULAR RANGER on January 19, 1918 thru June 1918, as a private, Co. G. He then resigned. In 1920 and 1930, he was farming in Medina County, Texas. John Allen Graham died June 21, 1957 in Rocksprings, Edwards County, Texas. He was buried in Sabinal Cemetery, Sabinal, Uvalde County, Texas.
