Mrs. Adams passed away Monday February 5, 2007 at Gateway Health Care following an extended illness.

Mrs. Adams was born in Union County the daughter of the late Herman and Dessie Nix Allen. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Willie Williams and Grady Adams, son, George G.W. Williams, brothers, Dewey Allen, Loy Allen, Raymond Allen, Phillip Allen, sister, Loyce Sims, grandson, Wayne Williams and granddaughter, Angie Williams. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include daughter and son in law, Betty & L.G. Petitt, Cleveland; daughter, Sue Turner, Cleveland; son & daughter in law, Jerry Williams & Edie Telford, Cleveland: adopted daughter, Tonya Kyser, Cleveland; brother, Marvin Allen, Knoxville, TN; sisters & brothers in law, Ader & Bill Arrendale, Dolly & Berman Stovall, all of Cleveland; 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday February 7, 2007 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.

Elder Sam Pomianowski officiated. Interment was in Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest.
