Warren R. Tracy, 55, Grand Rapids, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at the Miller Dwan Medical Center in Duluth.
Warren was born June 5, 1949, to Eldon and Irene (Thies) Tracy in Chicago, Ill. He grew up in Moose Lake, Minn. Warren served two tours of duty in Vietnam while serving in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. On June 1, 1976, he was married to Cheryl Luoma in Webster, S.D., and they made their home in Grand Rapids. He worked 10 years for Wal-Mart in Grand Rapids and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. One of Warren's favorite pastimes was fishing.
He is survived by three children, Tina Olander, of Lander, Wyoming; Chris Olander and Jade Tracy, both of Grand Rapids; his wife, Cheryl Tracy, Grand Rapids; his mother, Irene Tracy, Grand Rapids; and brothers, Gary (Diane) Tracy, Duluth and Jim (Julie) Tracy, Grand Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eldon, and sister Cheryl Buldra, both in 2002.
Funeral: Tuesday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. at Rowe Funeral Home in Grand Rapids with the Rev. Michael Carlson officiating.
Burial: Community Cemetery, Trout Lake Township.
Arrangements are by Rowe Funeral Home, Grand Rapids.
