James E. Loreman, seventy-three, 212 South Fourth street, Catawissa, died in Bloomsburg Hospital Saturday afternoon at 4:20 o'clock.
He was born May 21, 1896, in Franklin Township, a son of the late Samuel C. and Eda M. Hartman Loreman. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church; Catawissa Hose Company and Catawissa Eagles where he had been active for years.
Surviving are three daughters, Edie, wife of James A. Phillips, Baltimore, Md.; Jo, wife of Donald A. Schlieder, Long Beach, Cailf., and Jeanne, wife of L.A. Bertrand, Orange, Cailf.; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Bird, Catawissa, and Mrs. Allen Stewart, Catawissa R.D.1.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at two p.m. from the Harold A. Wulfert Funeral Home, Catawissa. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
