KANNAPOLIS, N.C. - Mrs. Maxine C. Cable, 80, 1308 Woodlawn St., died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004 at her home.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m., Tuesday at Cavalry Baptist Church. The Rev. W. Dale Tanner will officiate.
Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday at Whitley's Funeral Home.
Born Aug. 31, 1924 in Gaston County to the late John and Mamie Wells Cloninger, she retired from Cannon Mills Plant 4 weave room and was a longtime faithful member of Cavalry Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by son Danny Cable in 1993.
Survivors include daughter Diane Sawyer and husband David of Kannapolis; son Dennis Cable and wife Tammy of Kannapolis; brother Lewis Dan Cloninger of Indian Trail; grandchildren Keith Cable and wife Jeanna of Kannapolis, Christopher Cable and wife Nelly of Concord, Leigh Anne Cable of Charlotte, Lori Cable of Kannapolis, and Carey Cable of Kannapolis; great-grandson Caden Cable; and special niece Jane Bowers of Concord.
