Chauncey D. Boose
GLEN ROCK – Chauncey D. Boose, 77, of Glen Rock RD 2, died at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday at York Hospital. He was the husband of Pansy (Chinault) Boose.
Mr. Boose was born in Codorus Township and was a son of the late Henry and Maria (Bailey) Boose.
He was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Zion (Shaffer's) Union Church, Hanover Junction; and the Seven Valleys and Glen Rock Fire companies.
Survivors include: A daughter, Mrs. Ada Brown, 3146 Brookside Ave., Dover; four granddaughters and a grandson; four brothers, Roy H. Boose, Rest Haven-York; Henry W. Boose and Grover M. Boose, both of Seven Valleys RD 2; and Foster R. Boose, Glen Rock RD 2, and two sisters, Mrs. Edna Jones, Glen Rock RD 2, and Mrs. Sara Lusk, Ocala, Fla.
His pastor, the Rev. William H. Beck, will officiate at the funeral at 11 a.m. Friday at Zion (Shaffer's) Union Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
