Stanton K. Albertsen, 63, of Sycamore, died Wednesday, June 1, 1988 at Saint Anthony's Hospital in Rockford.

He was born Dec. 26, 1924, in Oak Park, Ill., the son of Charles and Elsie (Plagge) Albertsen. He married Elaine Allen on May 3, 1952 in Oak Park.

He was a retired supervisor for Spaulding Fiber Company and was a plastics consultant for Ideal Industries. He was a World War II Navy veteran and was a member of the Judson Baptist Church in Oak Park and the American Legion Constitution Post No. 326 in Bellwood, Ill.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine, of Sycamore; two daughters, Linda (Wayne) Mrozinski of Aurora, Colo., and Sandra (Glenn) Maxwell of Northbrook, Ill.; one son, Charles "Chip" Allen (Deanna) Albertsen of Sycamore; two brothers, Homer "Bud" Albertsen of Batavia and Ralph Albertsen of Lombard; and one grandson, Matthew Allen Albertsen of Sycamore.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 4, at the Federated Church in Sycamore, with the Rev. Dale Beaman officiating. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Friday, June 3, at the Quiram-Sycamore Funeral Home.
