Son of Bertrand George Bott and Florence Elizabeth Daugherty

Husband of Susan Marie Francis

Bott, Bruce E.,

61, Tuesday, May 23, 2017.

Today, our hearts are broken over the loss of our loved one, taken so suddenly.

Bruce, a loving husband and father, was employed by AT&T as a maintenance administrator, after owning and operating Convenient/Dairy Mart #227. Bruce was a 1974 alumni of Trinity High School and loved listening to the football games on Friday night. He was a collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia, especially the Haddon Sundblom Santa Claus collection. He had a very quick wit and enjoyed joking with everyone he encountered; especially his family in Lebanon, KY.

He was preceded in passing by his parents, Bertrand G. and Florence E. (Daugherty) Bott; who he cared for in their final years; 2 brothers, Ronald B. and Gerald L (Jerry) Bott.

He is survived by his wife; Susan (Francis) Bott; son, Aaron P. Bott, and sisters, Sharon Clark and Judy Pollard.

Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Saturday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road, with a prayer vigil to be held at 7 p.m.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to an organization Bruce was quite fond of: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital of Memphis, TN.
